About a decade ago, Kuan took up the challenge of teaching a group of seniors to draw. Going back to basics, he guided them on the fundamentals, coached them on principles of art, as well as encouraged them on the importance of practice. Much to his delight, he managed to get them to produce works of art that exceeded his expectations. Kuan has a wealth of experience in empowering individuals who have not drawn before to a point that they are able to draw and paint with a high level of competency.
